Right before Valentine’s Day, twelve contestants came together for the annual English reading competition for sixth graders hosted by Ms. Morgen and Ms. Peper.
The students were asked to find interesting passages in their textbooks and to read them out loud to the audience. In the second part of the competition, they were also asked to read out unknown texts, which added even more excitement and suspense to the day. All the children read out their parts brilliantly and paid close attention to pronunciation, articulation and voice modulation.
The remarkable performances were highly entertaining and both the audience and the judges were very taken by the level achieved by the different students. In what was a close decision, the winner was Jeta Trepça (6b). Congratulations!
